MISSION
STATEMENT
To
live with nature and with each other is the basis for sustainable human
existence.
The
mission of “Sustainable Today” is to develop a new understanding, through
awareness and education, of our planet and of our own behavior.
The goal is to encourage all people to live responsibly and sustainably.
We will accomplish this goal in several ways:
1. Primarily, through the production and broad distribution of television programming that provides education, information, and examples of practices available today (or in the near future) aimed at adjusting attitudes, behaviors and practices. The scope will be broad and include not only environmental, but economic and social subjects as well.
2. Through the establishment of an educational facility where sustainable living techniques can be demonstrated, researched, and practically applied, the results of which will be documented and disseminated through the mass media.
3. And by attracting and encouraging the free exchange of technology, dialogue and discussion pertinent to the problems facing our planet and its societies via seminars, workshops, and multi-media resources.
We believe that through knowledge, human co-existence within our planet’s fragile ecosystem can be sustained.
